Feinstein – the Little Engine That Could

Well, Dianne Feinstein’s assault weapons ban has apparently been given the “talk to the hand” treatment by Harry Reid, who has decided it has no chance in hell of passing the full Senate.

Senate Democrats said Tuesday they’ll push the gun debate to the full Senate floor in April, though they dealt a major blow to gun control advocates when they decided not to include bans on sales of so-called assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines in the main bill.

[…]

“I’m not going to try to put something on the floor that won’t succeed,” the Nevada Democrat told reporters. “I want something that will succeed. I think the worst of all worlds would be to bring something to the floor and it dies there.”

This is something I predicted when Feinstein first came out with her “I’ve been saving this doozy for a REALLY big tragedy, so it can be exploited to the mostest” statement about her ban. I figured she would throw the Hail Mary, count on the Sandy Hook tragedy to carry it through, but if it proved to be too radical of a ban, it would distract the people’s attention from the real issue – the legisleeches’ mission to implement universal background checks, and essentially ban private gun sales.

It’s pretty much happening the way I said it would, although – not one to be called a quitter, Feinstein is planning another strategy: attach her odious, Second Amendment-decimating, authoritarian ban on defensive weapons and magazines as amendments during the floor debate.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this fetid old twat tried to tack them on to more critical legislation that may not have anything to do with guns, such as an appropriation bill of some sort, and threaten Americans with deaths of puppies and kittens, starving children and military training accidents if said appropriation bill doesn’t pass immediately…

Oh, wait… Is that strategy already taken?

The leftards in Washington really have no shame. While Feinstein tries to ram her unconstitutional legislation through the back door – both literally and figuratively – Harry Reid proceeds to link the tragic deaths of Marines at Hawthorne Army Depot yesterday on sequestration budget cuts, which aren’t really cuts, but more like decreases in spending increases, and threatening that more training problems could follow due to lack of funds.

Assweasels. The lot of them.

  1. Not surprising Fossil Reid is canning Feinschwein’s distraction of a bill. The real prize is the UN Arms Treaty which I expect the social democrats to throw their full support behind now that Twuntschwein’s bill has been tabled – for now.

Point of curiousity – their fellow Jews having been subjected to a mass extermination attempt by Adolf Hitler & Company in the 1930s and 1940s, one would think Feinstein, Shumer, Lautenberg, and others would be doing all possible to insure the events leading to such control never again was allowed on the earth. Instead, they want to repeat these events.

It’s rather evident not all of the Jewish faith feel this way but the actions of those Jews who have wormed their way into positions such as have the aforementioned three makes them and their supporters no better than the Kapos of WWII Germany who enjoyed special priviledges for keeping their fellow Jews under control in Hitler’s prison camps – Georgy Schwartz (George Soros) is a prime example of this manner of scum. He justified his actions by saying that if “I didn’t do it, someone else would have”. That pile of dogshit makes me ashamed to have Hungarian ancestry.

Again – Feinschwein’s bill was a distraction in further preparation for handing our sovereignty to the United Nations by our lawmakers who swore an oath to “Protect and Defend the Constitution of the United States”.

One question – how many overt Declarations of War on the Citizens of the United States will be tolerated?

So….it’s the fault of the sequester that Marines are now dead?

Sure. I get that. Makes perfect sense. Uh huh. And my grandfather died in 1981, having a stroke because of The Great Depression. I see the correlation.

I bet it’s Bush’s fault that we now have 7 dead Marines, too. Oh. Wait. No, it was the sequester. But Bush caused the sequester, somehow, from his ranch in Texas. See, it IS all Bush’s fault!

  3. They awakened a sleeping giant with the push for more restrictive gun legislation. People were beyond concerned; many were outright frightened.

The big question is whether the giant nods off again or pushes back and causes mayhem with the political careers of those that were so willing to lie about defending the Constitution. Many are criminals, in my mind. The rest are cowardly minions of Progressive bastards.

  6. Yeah, Imelda Staunton looks like Feinstein, and yes, Umbridge is the spitting image as far as the way they both think.
