Garnering sympathy for his oh-so-sad plight didn't work, so now he's forced to admit the truth.
Professor Jones told the BBC yesterday there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacked organisational skills, that his office was swamped with piles of paper and that his record keeping is ‘not as good as it should be’.
The data is crucial to the famous ‘hockey stick graph’ used by climate change advocates to support the theory.
Professor Jones also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now – suggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon.
And he said that for the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming.
The raw data that Phil Jones conveniently misplaced was collected from hundreds of weather stations around the world and was used for years to bolster efforts by the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to press governments to cut carbon dioxide emissions push governments to implement regulations that aim to bankrupt companies, punish what the UN calls "the rich" and redistribute wealth to tin pot dictators in third world shitholes.

I wonder if Skeletor Pelosi and our Dear Leader will listen and stop forcing Cap and Tax down our collective throats...It warned that greenhouse gases had already heated the world by 0.7C and that there could be 5C-6C more warming by 2100, with devastating impacts on humanity and wildlife. However, new research, including work by British scientists, is casting doubt on such claims. Some even suggest the world may not be warming much at all.
“The temperature records cannot be relied on as indicators of global change,” said John Christy, professor of atmospheric science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, a former lead author on the IPCC.

UPDATE: Those of you who didn't want to bet were dead on. Not only are the leeches in the Worst Little Whorehouse on the Potomac NOT going to change their course, but now this - they're going to toss more American taxpayers' earnings at the problem.
Global warming skeptics are agog that President Obama is seeking to dramatically increase federal funding for global warming research in the wake of the Climate-gate scandals that have emerged during the last three months.
The federal budget for 2011 proposes $2.6 billion for the Global Change Research Program, a 21 percent boost over 2010. It will bring funding to a level higher than under any administration dating back to 1989 -- when global warming first attracted federal budget funds.
Not only are they not giving up on the cult of global warming, they're going to increase funding for it... likely in hopes that more "research" will reveal that the globe is heating up quickly because of the blanket of snow that's keeping the hot air trapped inside the ground, and that it will explode without an immediate infusion of money to fund an earth-sized cooling pad filled with unicorn farts to save the planet.

This revelation doesn't not surprise me one bit, I am sure the porn sites are more interesting than compiling data you know your going to slant the result to maintain the fear factor in order to keep the funding going. Every pharmaceutical company uses the same tactic while the FDA miss-uses their computers, too. It's a matter of trust and that's the problem.

no bet here. I know a guy who has been shown all the proof that this whole thing is a fraud and he just calls all those who realize it is a fraud "deniers" or "denialists". The man simply is not capable of logical thought. For if he participated in logical thought he must give up his feelings of moral superiority over us intellingent people.
So, no bet here. The above is the problem with the public. The problem with governments is that they already know this is fraud, but there is too much power to be garnered by continuing the fraud.
An example of their awareness is how they have begun changing the terms. Global warming now is climate change. They know at some point the scam will no longer be sustainable and there will sudden discovery of global cooling, which is covered under the title "climate change. The cure will be the same, more government control and less individual liberty.

Yeah, and Al Gore has gone missing. In the spirit of public service, I put a missing poster up on my site. Hopefully, he will be found. The scary thing is that they were SOOOOOO close to pulling this thing off. Apathy is wrong.

obama lacks the courage to face reality. He has to appease the far left loonies who are just about the only group still in love with him. He'll hang onto their failed ideas and champion their lost causes to the bitter end.
