What was this about racism and this nation's refusal to discuss it, Mr. Holder?He hijacked the celebration, jumped on stage, and launched a tiradeagainst those who “disrespected” him. When a college trustee dared tochallenge the unhinged Barron, he whipped out the race card and accusedhis critic of being an “ignorant racist” — a smear he repeated over and over again while everyone else in the room ducked and cringed.
I have one word for people like that "PIG". He should have been escorted out as soon as he jumped on stage. There is no excuse for allowing that kind of behavior. Another case of PC going awry.

Madalyn - just think about the fact that this is not the first such outburst from this particular racist swine, and yet he not only gets invited to these functions, but gets reelected as well.

A couple of things. One, he should have been ejected immediately. Two, the room was full of cowards who milled around and dithered instead of shutting him down.
An aside, he would not have offered to "come down there and ..." whatever else he threatened without an invitation to do just that and he would have paid a dear price. I'm too old and sick to tussle long, so I have to hurt them quickly and severely and I know how.
When are the rest of us going to grow enough balls to quit allowing this crap?

Straightarrow, you are correct. If and until people start calling the people out who constantly call us racist and who have no problem breaking in lines thinking we will say nothing, this rude behavior will continue. I am prouf to be an equal opportunity bigot. I hate everyone equally.

Yeah, I don't like many people, either. Oddly for a racist bigot like me my favorite person who isn't a family member is a black man. I guess I'm just a confused racist bigot.
Having said that I would let him watch my back anytime, and I have watched his.
