I’d like to know who these people are

There’s something I really want to know: how many deadbeat, fiscally irresponsible people have had my home phone number in the past?  Because the number of calls I get from collection agencies for idiots who owe a whole lot of people a whole lot of money is getting out of control.

First there’s this festering twat named Karen Marshall.  I promise that if I ever meet her, I’m going to drag her to the nearest collection agency by her short and curlies and leave her on the doorstep duct taped to the railing with a sign that reads, “I’m a dumb bitch who doesn’t know how to control her debts and leaves other people to deal with collection calls intended for me.”  I can’t even count how many different collection agencies have called me about this woman!  She must owe the entire world money!  I have told several different collection agencies that I don’t know any Karen Marshall, and to please stop calling.  They do.  But then OTHER collection agencies begin to call.  It’s like a never-ending circle of debtors’ doom!

Then, there’s some numbnuts named Brian Marshall.  I have to assume he’s related to Karen Marshall, but I’m not sure.  All I know is that he had this number at some point as well, and a whole DIFFERENT set of collection agencies call my house looking for this loser.  So yes, once again I have to waste time and breath calling these agencies and informing them that I am the rightful user of this phone number, and that if Brian Marshall gave them this number, he either lied to them to get them off his back, or he simply doesn’t have this number any longer.  Whatever his deal is, he owes someone money, hasn’t paid it and has forced the people to whom he owes money to chase his ass down – dragging me into it in the process.  Jerk.

And then there’s someone named Ida Sterling.  This is a new one.  No one has ever called for her before that I recall, so I’m wondering if this woman didn’t spend a bunch of money that isn’t hers and gave her creditors a random phone number to get out of paying her debts.

Note to deadbeats: quit borrowing money you can’t pay back and quit giving your lenders my phone number!  I’m sick and tired of having to talk to creditors and collection agencies!

Hmmmm…. he may have been onto something there

Remember when Joe Wilson got all rude during a session of Congress and screamed out “YOU LIE!” while the Magic Marxist was making his claim that illegal immigrants will not have access to taxpayer funded health care?  I still maintain Wilson was rude, and he did apologize.

But was he wrong?

Methinks not so much.

Fearful that they’re losing ground on immigration and health care, a
group of House Democrats is pushing back and arguing that any health
care bill should extend to all legal immigrants and allow illegal
immigrants some access, The Washington Times reported on Monday.

The Democrats, trying to stiffen their
party’s spines on the contentious issue, say it’s unfair to bar illegal
immigrants from paying their own way in a government-sponsored
exchange. Legal immigrants, they say, regardless of how long they’ve
been in the United States, should be able to get government-subsidized
health care if they meet the other eligibility requirements.

As a LEGAL immigrant to this country, I find this whole thing offensive.  Forgive me if I don’t support my money going to fund a service for people whose very first act upon entering this country is to take a large, steamy dump on this country’s laws!

And yes, health care is a service.  It’s not a right, like some will claim.  It’s a service that requires someone to provide it – someone who has likely worked his or her ass off in college and medical school, pays tons of money in malpractice insurance and deserves to get paid for their expertise.  And because it’s a service that requires payment, to force the rest of us to foot the bill for some shitbag who snuck in here illegally, is morally abhorrent.

Oh, and by the way – what the hell do you think will happen if you start offering goods and services free to illegals at American taxpayers’ expense? Do you honestly think that will make them LESS likely to do everything in their power to haul their unwashed asses across our border?  Let me give you guys a clue: if you offer them free shit, they will come.

Ergo, offering them some of the best health care services in the world free of charge will only give them more incentive to violate our immigration laws.

STOP THE MADNESS!!!

Praise the Lord, and Pass the Ammunition!

I’ve heard it said numerous times that guns should be banned in churches.  Thank goodness this pastor wasn’t one of those.

A pastor, who was a former Detroit Police lieutenant, shot a man who broke into a west side Detroit church Sunday evening.

Lawrence
Adams told police he shot the burglar with a pistol in self-defense
after they struggled at the Westside Bible Church at Seven Mile and
Winston.

The suspected intruder was hospitalized and remained in critical condition Monday.

Too bad the suspected intruder isn’t roasting in hell where he belongs.

WTF?

Is it me, or does Qaddafi look like the bastard spawn of Richard Simmons and Divine?

So I was walking past a TV monitor at work just as terrorist asslicker Muammar Qaddafi is rambling incoherently.  I actually had to do a double take.  I wasn’t sure if the monitor was malfunctioning, or if that was, in fact, Qaddafi’s face!

This fucker is a raging, batshiat crazy loon!

Go ahead!  Tell me I’m wrong!

This is what your tax dollars fund

Watch this latest video from Hannah Giles and James O’Keefe and tell me how you’re not disgusted by the fact that this shitty organization with which the President of this country has indelible ties is getting your tax dollars.

This is the kind of scum they employ.  This is the type of foul filth that is getting your tax dollars.

Let’s Hope(tm) that Change(tm) in this case means that your earnings will no longer flow to ACORN.

Gee… I wonder why the mainstream media is not covering this.

No more tax dollars

For these foul miscreant, criminal sacks of scum.

A poverty-rights group that
has drawn the ire of conservatives suffered another setback in
Washington on Monday when the U.S. Senate voted overwhelmingly
to deny it access to federal housing funds.

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now,
which helps poor people fight foreclosures and fix tax
problems, has received more than $53 million in U.S. funds
since 1994, but conservatives’ charges of widespread fraud have
begun to impact its reputation in the capital.

Last week, the U.S. Census Bureau told the group it did not
want its help boosting participation in next year’s census.

Oh is THAT what it does?  Helps poor people fight foreclosures and fix tax problems?  And here I thought it bullied companies into allowing deadbeat scum to suck off its profits at others’ expense.  Here I thought it facilitated illegal activities.  Here I thought they helped criminals exploit the law.  Here I thought they helped promote prostitution.  Here I thought they helped elect the Magic Marxist by engaging in voter fraud.

These vomitous bags of effluvia are a disgusting band of socialist bullies, who – until now – have been receiving taxpayer money for their shady activities.

Thanks much to the U.S. Senate for doing the right thing and removing ACORN’s filthy paws from our pockets.  The Senate measure passed 83-7.  Want to know who the criminal enablers are who voted to keep feeding taxpayer dollars into ACORN’s foul maw?

Burris (Dickhead-IL)
Casey (Dumbass-PA)
Durbin (Douchebag-IL)
Gillibrand (Dunce-NY)
Leahy (Debauched shitsack-VT)
Sanders (Socialist-VT)
Whitehouse (Dimwit-RI)

Michelle Malkin notes that the great hope of the GOP John McCain notably abstained from voting.  Gee, I wonder why.  Tell me again how I should have voted for this shitstain as the lesser of two evils.

NOTE: By the way – for the record, I have no moral problem with prostitution.  I know quite a few of you will have a problem with this, but there it is.  I feel an adult should be free to do what an adult wants with said adult’s own body, especially since this particular activity is freely given at any other time.  Transactions between two consenting adults should be none of politicians’ business.  That said, it is currently against the law.  Yes, it’s prevalent.  Yes, it’s common.  Yes, it’s done. But it is currently illegal in most states, and ACORN attempted to circumvent the law and help what they thought was a criminal enterprise obtain housing at taxpayer expense.

That is what I find abhorrent.

I have to agree with Mas Ayoob

I don’t see anti-gun bias in this article.  Business Week.  It focuses on… well… BUSINESS!  It does look to me that the author worked on presenting a balanced story of Glock.

Glock is a terrific product.  The video of Mas Ayoob shooting both a Glock and a revolver in the beginning of the article portray accurately why this pistol – simple, elegant and virtually indestructible – is a favorite with law enforcement.

It accurately dispels the myth of the “plastic gun,” that gun grabbers so love to use as a scare tactic, fomenting hysteria about terrorists being able to sneak these firearms on planes and kill us all!

Syndicated columnist Jack Anderson raised the Glock profile when he
wrote in January 1986 that Libya, a notorious terrorist threat, was
trying to acquire Austrian-made “plastic” guns that could evade metal
detectors. Glock pistols are actually made mostly of metal and are
easily identified by alert airport screeners.
(And even not so alert ones, I would suspect, since it would set off metal detectors.)

And it attempts a balance when reporting about Glock’s business practices. It discusses marketing strategies, and pricing plans, as well as a certain history of intrigue.

I don’t see an anti-gun bias in the article at all.

Mas Ayoob spent some time with the reporter who wrote the piece.

I know Barrett, and I didn’t take it that way. In
fact, he’s one of the few mainstream media people I know who seems to
take a totally neutral approach to this highly polarized debate. In
reading his article and the related sidebars carefully, I can find no
hint of editorial prejudice against gun owners. The online version
opens with a video of me explaining why both police and “civilian”
markets took to the Glock pistol like ducks to water. Both Barrett and
his editors had the opportunity to edit out the comments in which I
treated the private citizen sector with the same respect as the law
enforcement sector. They did not.

I took Barrett to a couple of pistol matches so
he could see why ordinary folks liked these popular handguns. In an
exercise in “participatory journalism,” he took some private lessons
with us and competed in the second match, using a borrowed Glock 17. He
proved safe and competent for a man who has never owned a firearm and
had only fired them in the course of research related to his reportage
on the weapons industry. New to the gun, he did not come in last in the
match.

In talking with Barrett, I got a sense of an
honest reporter trying to show every side of the story he had been
assigned to write. Some former Glock execs, whom he plainly showed in
his article to be  inimical toward the company, had to be quoted; when
I talked with him, he was trying desperately to get counterpoint
comments from current Glock spokespeople.

As gun owners, we’re so accustomed to being vilified by most of the mainstream mediots, that we seem to kneejerk into defensive mode anytime an article is written about guns that is not completely, 100 percent complimentary.

I would encourage folks to read the piece, rather than jump to conclusions that this article was just another attack on gun rights.

I love my Glocks.  The company manufactures a terrific product at a price that is worth its value. I’ve never had a problem with a Glock, and I can understand why it’s a popular firearm with both civilians and law enforcement alike.
