He has no idea if his gargantuan, expensive, inefficient, Marxist health care proposal will ban private insurance, but we must pass it NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW!!!!
A blogger during a lefty blog conference asked the Magic Marxist if his plan that he wanted to pass NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW would ban private insurance… whether we’d be able to keep the coverage we have.
The reply? “You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about.”
So he wants Congress to pass a questionable, fiscally irresponsible bill that could very well if not outright BAN private coverage, then certainly drive it out of existence, and he can’t even be bothered to actually READ the fucking legislation he claims is so urgently needed?
Listen to this dialogue! The part I’m referring to starts at 17:10.
Transparency? Fiscal responsibility? Integrity? What the hell?
He wants us to implement shitty legislation that he hasn’t read, and he’s fomenting panic to force its passage.
There’s your hope and change, fitty tooers! You’ve pulled us into this shit. Thanks a bunch, assholes.

Rich Lowry at National Review pinned it neatly just yesterday:“Normally, the larger and more complicated a bill is, the longer Congress takes to consider it. With the stimulus and cap-and-trade, Obama and the Democrats upended this rule of thumb by passing byzantine, 1,000-page bills that no one had the time to read. When the work product is indefensible, deliberation is dangerous.”
